Social Networks
For some time Internet has undergone a transformation, changes that have turned the way we view the Web, although today’s the term coined by many is called Web 2.0 and is the evolution of a flat Web into one in that the interaction between users is what constitutes and builds this network of networks. The 2.0 platforms are characterized by delivering information that wouldn’t be found on corporate Websites, so the information that a user views on different platforms acquires another value. For example a 2.0 user acquires value from the information found in a company’s Website, in this case is good that the company has a blog which speaks with a more colloquial language and to position itself as a leader of opinion within the field of expertise. The online or digital marketing evolves to Social Marketing, as the Social Media Marketing or Social Networks combines the premises of digital marketing and direct marketing and aims to improve communications and corporate social responsibility, generate social interaction and to show commercial interest by consumers and their desires. Social Media Marketing is a digital marketing strategy that transforms corporate relationship and communication making it closer to consumers. For social marketing the best way to communicate company goals is through a blog, because the communications by this mean are more informal, achieving in this way to establish a closer bond with the customer and generating brand loyalty.
One premises of social marketing is to get close to the consumer, know what they want and therefore ensure that customers are satisfied and recommend products and/or services.
Social platforms most used by Digital Marketing, are:
• Flickr: Platform that enables the organization of digital photos and a social network. It´s used by Blogger as photo storage. It allows searching images by date, label or license and sent them by email.
• Youtube Channel: Free video platform that allows editing videos and photos, with them make audio-visual footage and share them.
• Facebook: It's a social tool that allows people to contact and create common interest communities. Interactive platform that can have content, text, images, videos, etc.
• Blog: A regularly updated Website that collects chronological texts or articles from one or more authors, the most recent appearing first, where the author always retains the freedom to leave what he believes relevant. Typically, in each article of a blog, readers can post their comments and respond to the author, so it is possible to establish a dialogue.
Both users and customers will have the opportunity to learn more about each other and thus sharpen the strategic plans of work so that both sides obtain satisfaction with the “exchange process”.
The blog development involves a more finished premise than "process of exchange between client and company", extends its objective in blog’s virality and the evangelization of bloggers.
The advantages of this channel of communication lie in the immediateness, requiring fewer and lightweight resources to produce a fast synergy and cohesion between the different client areas. Corporate Blogs | Facebook Marketing | Youtube Marketing
